Seniors and young professionals are being pushed out of the suburban municipalities. The court is a solution where they can live together in their familiar environment.
Living together in a community
The courts consist of the Hi.homes design: a spacious one-bedroom house with its own garden and above it, a studio with a spacious terrace.
The houses face the court to encourage chance encounters within the community.

Status Study
B-invented has conducted a study based on its Hi.homes solution for affordable social housing in a location in Riethoven. The study shows that courts are a good social solution to allow seniors and young working people to live in their familiar environment.
The concatenation of interior spaces, front gardens, the park, and the routing cleverly enables densification, making affordable sustainable courts possible.
The Hof van Riethoven is designed as a park with complete wooden houses, making maximum use of bio-based materials.
