Undertaking a daring challenge, the client KRAGT not only dared to envision a transformation but also turned it into reality!
Unique lofts
The metamorphosis of a monumental warehouse into trendy apartments, carefully preserving the original ornaments of this national heritage to retain its raw and industrial character. This remarkable feat was accomplished on Broekhovenseweg in Tilburg.
The former wool warehouse stands as a symbol of Tilburg’s textile industry history and was part of a large textile complex dating back to 1922.
Today, it houses 29 loft apartments and studios, ranging in size from 34m² to 115m².
From the collaborative efforts of the B-group, various contributions were made to the warehouse’s transformation. B-invented served as the architect in partnership with KRAGT, overseeing all aspects of architectural and structural engineering.
