For Amsterdam Up-North, we were commissioned to engineer approximately 580 façade elements. These elements are then manufactured by our sister company B-leaf in their dedicated production facility in Tiel.

The elements are mounted onto a concrete structure using steel profiles. Since they are directly exposed to the elements, ensuring water tightness poses a significant technical challenge. This makes it especially valuable that we take an integrated approach to finding a solution.

Our focus is on developing a sustainable solution that protects the timber from moisture — even before the brickwork is applied.
