Located on Boulevard ‘De Wielingen’, right next to the wide beach of Cadzand, the residential project C-sight is currently under construction. Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful locations in Cadzand, it offers direct views of the marina, the sea, and the surrounding landscape. The nearby nature reserves ‘Het Zwin’ and the ‘Verdronken Zwarte Polder’ only add to its unique appeal.
The project includes 23 apartments, 3 penthouses, 7 houses, as well as commercial spaces and an underground parking garage. B-invented was responsible for the structural calculations, engineering, and support during the production process of the prefabricated wall elements.
Concrete Elements
The structural shell of this residential project is largely composed of prefabricated concrete elements. Not only the walls and columns, but also the (floor) beams and balconies were constructed using prefab concrete. Due to the complex shape of the balconies and the heavy reinforcement required in the beams, the detailing of these elements proved to be a considerable challenge.
