Quiet Eden

Housing concept

Fully wooden apartment building

This apartment block is designed as an oasis within the city. The building is bordered on one side by a busy road and on the other side by a railway.

For this reason, the decision was made to connect the three apartment blocks with each other through an open greenhouse structure. This creates an oasis where city sounds are kept outside.

Block pattern

The front view of the building facing the city features many straight lines. The wooden frame that forms the skeleton of the building is clearly visible. Within the block pattern are bird and insect houses, creating a connection between humans and nature.

Green oasis

The space between the three buildings is a green oasis where nature is maximally present, and the interaction between residents and visitors is maximally stimulated.

The balconies are formed by planters with overhanging plants. Through the use of design and the abundance of plants, all spaces blend together.
